15km – R290 pp
10km – R270 pp
5km – R250 pp
Children under 12 years – R150 pp
Entry Includes : Finisher Medal (a branded glass at the finish line including the first fill complimentary which includes either a Golden Draft or a Sparkling Wine); chill zone with live music on the lawns, fully stocked waterpoints, exclusive access to well-marked trails, trail fees, medical support, and a true Wild African Experience!

Registration: 60 minutes prior to batch start beginning from 05:30am (First briefing at 06h20 sharp)
Lucky Draw: As our ethos is around Experiences, we don’t do prizes for placings however a lucky draw with some great prizes will take place after the run so everyone has a chance!
Timing: Runners are required to record their individual time using their own devices if desired. Timings will be published on our website a few days after the run for those who might wish to submit these to medical aid. Once you cross the finish line, please submit your wrist band (with optional timing) into the bowl for our virtual lucky draw.
General Information:
Nestled at the foothills of the Zwartkops Mountains in the Cradle of Humankind, Kloofzicht Lodge & Spa is a comfortable 40 min drive from both Sandton & Pretoria. It overlooks six exquisite fly-fishing dams & the lower reaches of the Blaauwbank Spruit, as it meanders through the unspoilt Zwartkops gorge. The intimate but magnificent nature reserve upon which Kloofzicht is built, is home to kudu, impala, blue wildebeest, eland, red hartebeest, springbuck, gemsbok, zebra as well as a fascinating array of bird life. The trails will be a combination of riverbank, a bit of hill of course & quite a few open tracks across the plains for those who want to stretch their legs. You simply can not beat this setting plus there are two spectacular restaurants on site so make sure you leave some time afterwards to really revel in it’s beauty.
Wild Africa Experiences have rated the Trail a 3.5/5 (5 been the most difficult)
Medals; In true Wild Africa style, you will still receive a branded glass at the finish line with the first fill on us, including either a Golden Draft or a Sparkling Wine (for those 18 yrs & older). *** Please note that the glass type (champagne flute or beer mug) will be based on a first come / first serve basis at the finish line. Children under 12yrs will receive a standard medal whilst those 12-18 will receive just the branded glass.

Walkers / hikers are more than welcome to join us on 5km & 10km routes
Cut off time is estimated at 03h00 hours from first batch ie) 09h30
Water points will be available at several points on the run

No licence is necessary to take part in the run

Late entries on the day will be charged an additional R30 per person
General Information
There will be a light runners breakfast option available at Kloofzicht. Alternatively, please feel free to contact the Lodge directly should you wish to book the luxurious buffet breakfast at the Lodge or try the fabulous Oevermeer Bistro with their equally spectacular views.

Your safety is our number one concern. Whilst so much has changed, some things will thankfully still stay the same. We will continue with our exclusive & intimate trail runs in some hidden away valley and runners can be rest assured that your safety remains our absolute priority.
Withdrawal, Substitutions, Roll-overs:
All entry fees for the Event are non-refundable / non-transferable under all circumstances permitted by law, including, but not limited to, cancellation of the Event for any reason including withdrawal of your participation in the Event, or change in the date, nature, or format of the Event.
7 days and more prior to the event, refunds or roll-overs are permissible at the sole discretion of the organizer and based on medical grounds only. For refunds, an administration fee of 25% will be applicable. Alternatively, roll overs are valid for a maximum of 3 months with a maximum of one date change. If the participant does not, for any reason utilize the entry within 3 months, their entry will no longer be valid nor refunded.
0-6 days prior to the event, NO refunds or roll-overs are allowed, however substitutions are permissible at any time leading up to the event. Kindly ensure you email us on explore@wildafricaexperiences.co.za in order to assist further.
You acknowledge that the Event may be cancelled or changed due to government directives, severe weather or any other factors that may be considered to threaten the safety of participants as determined by the Event organiser in its sole discretion. We have always strived to deliver on each & every event but due to the nature of our activities, some natural elements are out of our hands. Unfortunately, there is a no refund policy on bookings due to rain or lightening cancellation caused on the day. The Event organiser further reserves the right to refuse any entry or cancel any entry to the Event.
