As our ethos is around Experiences, we don’t do prizes for placings, however a lucky draw with some great prizes will take place after the run.
Runners are required to record their individual time using their own devices. Once you cross the finish line, please submit your wrist band with your timing into the bucket for our virtual lucky draw. Timings will be emailed to runners the following day for Discovery Vitality Point submissions.
October’s trail run takes us to Ground, The Venue. Based in Muldersdrift, bordering the Cradle of Humankind, you’ll find this charming and unique venue. Surrounded by world heritage, Ground is simply spectacular in its natural beauty, enhanced by vines from Cape Town, glorious forests and of course magnificent mountains just waiting to be explored.
Join us for a spectacular morning trailblazing in the country surrounded by vineyards, forests & fields followed by a few ice-cold, well deserved complimentary G&T’s to further ignite those senses. Join us afterwards at Ground’s chill zone for a great runners breakfast under a canopy of trees in the wide open country spaces where you can taste a multitude of SA finest hand crafted gins.
Participants will receive a branded crystal gin glass as your medal after the trail followed by some well-deserved complimentary craft gin tasting for those 18 years & older (children under 18 will receive medals)
Route – Wild Africa Experiences have rated the route a 3/5 (5 been the most difficult)

Extensive COVID protocols have been implemented for the safety of both runners and staff alike. Please note that this is not an event as our Wild Africa Experiences followers know it. The number of runners will be limited (as per our norm) but face masks, sanitizers and distance controls will be enforced.
