General Information Venue: In the tranquility of the Zwartkops Mountains, on the banks of the Blaauwbank and Crocodile Rivers, lies Glenburn Lodge. Situated within the World Heritage Site, the “Cradle of Humankind”, this venue and spa is a mere 30 minutes from both Johannesburg and Pretoria, making it the ideal breakaway.
Route: As there are no extreme climbs or immensely difficult terrain on the 5km route, we’ve rated the route a 3/5. The 10km and 15km will take on the challenge of the “koppie” but views make it well worth the while. Wild Africa Experiences have rated this route a 3.5/5 (5 being the most difficult). Walkers / hikers are more than welcome to join us on the 5km & 10km route.
Medal: Participants will receive a branded flute glass as your medal at the finish line with a well-deserved bubbly tasting (only for runners 18 or older).
