General Information Venue/Route Profile:
Staring down at the lowest point, you’ll start exploring beautiful gullies as you make your way into the heart of Farmhouse 58. This venue has an abundance of water in which you’ll pass several streams & dams along the way. You slowly climb the hill, take aim at the “Sun Hole” Wall & this is where you’ll find your first well deserved watering point. From there you transcend the ridge, passing pristine dams where the 6km and 10km will start descending passing an impressive waterfall as you make your way towards the finish line. Here you’ll also pass the second water point. The 15km stay on the high ground & continue into grassland enjoying the vast expanse and JHB skyline. You’ll then slowly descend passing farm activities to make your way to the finish line. A bit of everything for everyone, including some beautiful African wild life and the opportunity to share the bonding experience with one of the most unique heritage sites in the world.

Medal : Participants will receive a glass latte mug at the finish line with a complimentary coffee & chocolate experience after the trail.

Route : Most of the routes are on jeep track along with some single track. There are no overly steep or technical climbs but there are a few gradual climbs that will challenge you as you make your way through. Wild Africa Experiences have rated this venue a 3.5 out of 5 (5 being the most difficult). The paths are fairly clear and not overly technical or rocky.  Walkers / hikers are more than welcome to join us on the 6km / 10km trails ***
