General Information Venue:
The Octobeerfest Trail takes us back to the spectacular Magaliesburg area where we explore Warthogs as well as African Hills Safari Lodge & Spa, after starting at the famous Black Horse Brewery. Feel Africa underfoot on a challenging trail offering an intimate encounter with both nature & wildlife. Here you can gain a true perspective of the fauna & flora indigenous to the region. Discover rock carvings along the way, in an area alongside what is said to be the oldest mountain range on earth. Note all routes include the first steady climb into the magalies mountains and the spectacular views are so worth it!
Over the years, for those who have joined us before, the “skybar” will be hosted on the deck platform on route at the highest point, only to be enjoyed on your return journey….. a refreshing stop with beaut views over the valley.
Route: Due to the nature of the terrain and the first climb, Wild Africa Experiences have rated the route a 4/5 (5 been the most difficult)
Medals: Participants will receive a branded glass beer mug at the finish line with a complimentary craft beer tasting after the trail.
